If you get in touch with any such dive centers your scuba diving experience will be catapulted to a different level altogether. They will take you to all the good diving spots and you will be able to enjoy yourself to a great extent. One of the spots that you will get to visit is Maolboal where you will be able to experience and witness scuba diving like never before. You will also get a chance to go to the dive spots around Pescador islands. You can go for boat diving and you can choose the timing according to your convenience. The dives are arranged at 7.30am, 10.00am and 2.30pm. Night dives are also arranged that will give you the unique experience to go underwater when the world is dark. There are usually deep walls in front of the centers and you can opt for shore dives whenever you want to.
In the dive safaris you can go cruising on outrigger boats from one island to another exploring new diving spots everyday. You can spend your nights in the beach resorts on the tropical islands of Philippines and this definitely is once in a lifetime opportunity. You must not miss the safari around the Cebu. You can also dive from the live boards and can take your pick from different diving styles like tech diving, wreck diving and shark diving. The places that are famous for these kinds of diving are Tubataha reef and Palau.
If you want you can go for wonderful day trips to the waterfalls of Kawasan near the Badian Islands. After enjoying a dive in the cool waters you can proceed to the nature park of Kawasan and see the beautiful tropical ravine forest of the valley and dip you feet in the ice cold water. Skimboarding was born on the beaches on a board that is much smaller than a surfboard. Skimboarding involves skimming this board along the outgoing shallow waters of retreating waves along the sand. Once the board reaches the waves the user rides the wave back in to shore.
The trick is to learn how to stand on the board while it is in motion and to then ride it as it glides across the thin surface layer of water on the shore, out to the incoming waves. Many more advanced boarders learn to incorporate skateboarding tricks like rails, fistral turns and ollies to make the sport more complex.
If you really enjoy being on the beach and close to the water but want a sport that is exciting without risking deep water and big waves, then you should try out skimboarding. It is a great way to exercise as it forces you to use every muscle in your body.
The bonus to this type of exercise is that you are having so much fun doing it that you do not even realize that you are exercising. Another way to use this board is to allow it to glide over wet sand towards the ocean.
A technique called flatland skimming requires you to ride the board ahead of an incoming wave, towards the shore. The ideal is to try this at low tide, when there is more of the beach exposed than normal and there is likely to be more shallows to practice in.
Absolute beginners will first need to learn how to mount their moving boards at a run, a trick than can take a bit of practice to master. After you have learnt how to do this, there are many other fun tricks to learn and improve upon.
A popular manoeuvre is known as the Wrap, which involves learning how to twist your body and shift your weight so that as you hit a wave, you turn yourself and your board to ride the wave back to shore. More advanced skimmers can actually ride the barrel of the wave into shore.

www.facebook.com/snorkelling 27th July 2010 One of the best encounters ever with friendly Humpback Whales off Port Douglas on the Wavelength. Video by Chris. Webelieve the best snorkeling in the world is a coral reef adventure on a Great Barrier Reef snorkeling trip with Wavelength Marine Charters because coral reefs on the great barrier reef australia are perfect for snorkeling rather than scuba diving due to their shallow nature with most life in the first few metres. Great barrier reef diving is more for the scuba diving experience rather than seeing coral reefs and fish. Unlike snorkeling in hawaii or snorkeling in cozumel or snorkeling in bahamas or snorkeling in sharm el sheikh, expert snorkeling tips and snorkeling how to information is given on the boat. Snorkelling great barrier reef not from crowded Cairns but from Port Douglas is the best snorkeling with sharks, snorkeling with dolphins, snorkeling with turtles and snorkeling with stingrays. Unlike the high impact Agincourt reefs, Opal Reef is like snorkelling in a coral reef aquarium.
