Passions of Paradise is a 25 meter spacious sailing catamaran, travelling at a top speed of 16 knots it takes around 2 hours to travel to Paradise Reef on the fringes of the Outer Great Barrier Reef.
Departing everyday from the Marlin Marina at 08:00 am Passions of Paradise is comfortable and big enough to find a perfect the perfect position to relax on the sail out and back from the reef.

Two Utes Cairns Whale Shark & Big Eye Tuna

In Cairns I interviewed Peter Stokes from Cairns Dive Centre. Peter has been involved in the dive industry for the last 15 years. We discussed why Cairns is such a dive mecca. Fantastic underwater shots courtesy of Nembrotha Diving. I also took in a night out at well known backpacker party place, ‘the Woolshed’ and visited the quaint rainforest village of Kuranda

M.V.Sunkist is a fast 60-foot monohull diving vessel operated by Cairns Dive Centre, M.V.Sunkist travels at 24 knots and can have you at the Cairns Outer Great Barrier Reef in 90 minutes.
Departing everyday from the Marlin Marina at 08:15am the M.V.Sunkist caps its trip passenger numbers to 25 thus allowing its passenger to experience the Outer Great Barrier Reef without the crowds of the bigger boats.
The M.V.Sunkist is ideal for snorkelers or divers looking to escape the crowds and who are looking for maximum time in the water, the day trip does not offer a large vessel or mooring pontoon and therefore is not really suited to families, older passengers or people looking to do glass bottom boat tours.
